Aims: To give an understanding of British Sign Language (BSL) as a Language, and it's structure. Also learn the difference between British Sign Language, Sign Supported English (SSE) and Mime.


Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will able to fingerspell and use very basic everyday signs. They will also have an awareness of Deaf Culture, the role of an interpreter and learn good communication tactics.

Following the training each attendee will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
